Double Alpha Spring
A patented moving element on the key blade engages a special pin at the rear of the shear line — an extra layer of security that is extremely difficult to bypass.
Resistance Matrix
Hardened against drilling, picking, and bumping with telescopic pin technology and solid brass construction. Deflects drill bits and resists sledgehammer blows.
3-in-1 Keying
The cylinder can be re-keyed instantly up to two times by simply turning a different key — previous keys become useless on the spot.

Grade 1 vs. Grade 2: The Real Difference
- Grade 2 (residential standard): 400,000+ cycle rating, standard impact resistance, minimal drill resistance — adequate for interior doors and low-risk entries.
- Grade 1 (MTL-800): 800,000+ cycles, resists sledgehammer blows, dual anti-drill ball bearings that spin with (and ruin) drill bits, and interlocking ball bearings that claw the bolt to the frame against crowbar attacks.
