Understanding Safe Ratings

Burglary Ratings

RSC (Residential Security Container) resists a 5-minute tool attack; commercial TL-15 and TL-30 safes resist 15–30 minute attacks including power tools. Higher rating, stronger protection.

Fire Ratings

A 1-hour fire rating keeps internal temperature under 350°F for 60+ minutes — crucial for documents. Digital media needs lower-temperature protection (under 125°F).

I have lost the combination to my safe. Can you open it?

Yes. We open mechanical and electronic safes, and we ask for proof of ownership before we start, which protects you as much as us.

Will opening it destroy the safe?

Often not. Manipulation and non-destructive entry work on many safes. When drilling is the only option we drill to a known point, then repair, re-plug and restore the safe to full working order.

Do you deliver and anchor safes?

Yes. An unanchored safe is a safe that leaves in the back of a truck, so we bolt it down properly. We handle delivery, placement and anchoring across Los Angeles.

Can you change the combination on my existing safe?

Yes, on both mechanical dial and electronic locks, and we can upgrade an old dial to an electronic lock if you would rather.
